Questions and Answers

Q: Certifications stating the system meets NFPA, OSHA, NIOSH, and ASHRAE
A: NFPA, OSHA, NIOSH, and ASHRAE don’t certify any companies showing they meet any of these standards. It all comes down to exposure limits

Q: A list of activation devices
A: Tone Alarm, Magnetic Door Relays, Door Control Relays, Gas Detectors, Electric Eyes, Vehicle Run Detection circuits, 800 HZ Tone Alert System, any dry contact closure, Key chain remote and Airmation particle counter.

Q: A list of bifold door systems that are compatible
A: Any bifold door with a 24V output can activate the AirMATION system to run for the set programmed time. If the doors open or close a signal will be sent to the TSCMM Controller to activate the Filtration Units. I have not seen a bifold door without a 24V output in the past. Worst come to worse and there isn’t one a relay can be installed in the door controls.

Q: Does your system have sequential activation to decrease amp load
A: Power Sequencing and Very Soft motor start-ups, and speed changes; to avoid HV current surges in the facility power circuits. The ECM Motor takes about 18 Seconds to ramp up.

Q: What is the power requirements for your system
A: Model AMB302 208/230VAC. 60Hz, Single Phase @ 7.2Amps max or Model AMB301-120VAC, 60Hz, Single Phase, @15Amps max

Q: How often do the filters need to be replaced
A: Filter placement is a function of the runtime of the equipment and the quality of the air passing through he filtration unit. Duo to the high-quality filter used, the pre filter can last up to 1 year and the DOP and Carbon can last up to 3 years. Each location varies.

Q: How loud is the Airmation system
A: The average Decibels is 60-65. The different designs of buildings do have an impact of the decibel’s readings

Q: How much does it cost to run the Airmation System
A: The AMB-302GM is the most efficient system on the market the unit comes standard with a 1 HP Genteq P/N 5SME39SXL111 Motor. Operates at @25% less power usage than a brushed Motor

Q: How Heavy are the Filtration units
A: AMB-302GM 240 LBS,  AMARB-302GM 340 LBS, Microcon CD 125 LBS

Q: Is the AirMATION approved for FEMA Grants
A: AirMATION is fully compliant to receive FEMA Grans.

Q: Is AirMATION Certified
A: AirMATION and the TSCMM is ETL Certified to UL STD 507 and CSA STD 22.2
