MICROCONŽ ExC/ ExC-BB/ ExC-BUV MICROCONŽ ExC: The ExC model is designed to create a negative pressure isolation room and is installed in a standard 2x2 drop ceiling grid. The unit is itself self-contained, and exhausts HEPA filtered air to exhaust directly outside, to the return air system, or into the ceiling plenum. A stainless steel swing down perforated grille houses the pre-filter and allows the HEPA filter to be accessible from the room side. Measuring only 10" in height, almost any above-ceiling application can be accommodated, freeing up valuable floor space and reducing system tampering. The ExC is attractive, lightweight, and requires only periodic filter maintenance to maintain peak performance. In addition, a ceiling diffuser can be used to return HEPA filtered air back into the room to provide dilution and air changes.
ExC-BB: The ExC-BB is a higher capacity HEPA filtered exhaust version of the ExC. When placed in a 2x2 dropped ceiling grid, it requires only 13 inches of ceiling clearance. Its fan is housed in a separate enclosure while the ExC fan is integrated into the filtered housing. MICROCONŽ ExC- BUV: The ExC-BUV is identical to the ExC-BB, except for the addition of four UV lamps. In applications requiring UV, this configuration improves performance by the addition of HEPA filtration. Four high intensity UV lamps are placed upstream of the filters, virtually eliminating periodic bulb maintenance by preventing particulate buildup on the lamp's surfaces, thereby cutting down their irradiation effectiveness. Lamps are shielded in a built-in digital hour meter and electronic light sensor bar provide constant performance status. A built-in pressure differential gauge monitors filter performance to assure operation at peak performance levels. |
