AirMATION® Activation Features

Air purification solutions have never been made easier or more versatile. Knowing the complexity and urgency of the response activities concerning your firefighters and EMS personnel, automated activation has been developed for your AirMATION® units to meet all possible situations and activities within your firehouse facility. Automatic activation solutions have been designed to remove the possibility of exhaust releasing into the facility.

Each AirMATION® unit is wired to a Timer Control Maintenance Monitor (TCMM) box. The TCMM electronic timer is programmed to operate units for run-times anywhere between 1 and 180 minutes. The normal factory preset interval is approximately 21 minutes. Air Technology Solutions recommends that after a long run or strong fire emergencies where your firefighters have encountered heavy smoke exposure, the AirMATION® time interval should be increased to 40 minutes or greater depending on the extremity. This will take care of not only the out-gassing but the absorption into the apparatus and gear.

Activation periods can be manually changed according to your requirements by adjusting the timer control dial inside the TCMM enclosure or a manual bypass feature that enables all or individual AirMATION® units to run continuously. Up to eight (8) AirMATION® units, or sixteen (16) in optional tandem connection, can be connected to one 8" X 10" X 4" deep TCMM box.

100% of the wiring and circuits to and from the TCMM are LOW VOLTAGE 24 volts to provide a guaranteed level of safety within the facility. The TCMM can be equipped with a power sequencer to turn AirMATION® Units on and off in pairs with a two (2) second delay between pairs on power-up and one (1) second delay on power-down to reduce power surges within the facility. In case of a facility fire where the units are located, the AirMATION units will shut off automatically.
